Projects
I'm the number to call in a PR crisis. But I'm also great at helping your business flourish. Not only am I an intuitive problem solver (and preventer), but I love creating social media content, writing, and event organizing.
Crisis Management
Simulation Assignment
For this crisis management assignment, I was tasked with simulating a crisis response plan for Brach's Confections. In the simulation, research findings indicated a potential link between the yellow dye used in Brach's candy corn and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The attached crisis response plan addresses this hypothetical problem and outlines specific objectives and tactics to protect and repair Brach's public image.

The crisis response is designed to reach parents, health professionals, and organizations like the FDA and Health Canada- in addition to key internal publics.
Corporate Image Advertisement
Simulation Assignment
This assignment's central objective was to develop an outline of a corporate image advertisement for a Fortune 500 company of my choosing.

My advertisement was designed for Berkshire Hathaway's communities, current and potential stakeholders, and employees company-wide. It focuses on BH's long-standing philanthropy, The Sunshine Kids Foundation. The foundation brings children battling cancer from across the country on a variety of trips, giving them the opportunity to make friends and let kids be kids.
Press Release
Simulation Assignment
This assignment tasked me with writing a simulated press release for DC Metro Food Tours.

My writing aims to distinguish DC Metro Food Tours to tourists and local foodies from its competitors by establishing its identity as a personalized, luxury food-tour service with diverse cuisine and artisanal chefs.
Atlantic Merchant Services of Hampton Roads Website
Communications Manager
One of my proudest achievements as Communications Manager for AMS of Hampton Roads, I built and developed our regional website.

The website has made us more accessible and streamlined our client services. Today, roughly 20% of our new clientele comes directly from inquiries on our digital channels that I personally designed and maintained.
Interview with Kathy Fagan for the East Carolinian
Freelance Journalist
I wrote this article in college working as a freelance journalist for the East Carolinian, a student-run publication.

I was given the wonderful opportunity to meet and interview critically-acclaimed poet, Kathy Fagan. After the interview, Ms. Fagan hosted a reading of her newest release in Joyner Library.
